By naming our colors after icons, we express our immense gratitude to the multitalented artists who have inspired us throughout our lives.

Music has always been a vital ingredient in our creative journey and so has cinema and art in general.

We clearly have a penchant for our Italian origins, hence our homages to

Anna Magnani, Sofia Loren and Monica Vitti, whose stunning raw beauty shaped our young, curious minds.

Rebellion, glamour and rock 'n' roll pulse through our background.

Our love and admiration go to the beautiful roughness of Nina Simone's voice, and the angelic yet desperate sweetness of Sinéad O'Connor.

We draw daily inspiration and stay true to who we are with beautiful human beings like RuPaul and Divine and we walk the wild side with David Bowie and Marianne Faithfull.

We dedicated our three most platinum blondes to Donatella Versace because honestly, who else in the world is blonder than her?!?

We couldn't possibly honor everyone we adore in just one launch.

We began this line with 20 principal colors, but with the idea in mind to constantly expand our palette, bringing you more inspiration, more glamour, rebellion and rock 'n' roll tributes.

At SCIURA we challenge the establishment and its outdated rules. Who decided that hair extensions are made strictly for heterosexual women only and of a certain age and economic status?

Who created the myth that hair extensions must obey rigid beauty standards, completely disregarding creativity, personal taste and most importantly the freedom to be yourself?

We feel saturated by clichés that misrepresent exclusivity, pushing people toward exclusion and not inclusion.
